CCNOW'S REPEAT PURCHASE PROGRAM

This section answers questions about CCNow's Repeat Purchase Program.

How do I get paid?

First off, there is absolutely no cost to you. In fact, for every unique eligible consumer that accepts the offer, we share money with you. The money is deposited in your account once per month as "Revenue Share". No fulfillment is required by you; we take care of everything.

How do I place the free thank you gift offer on my site?

You do not need to do anything. The software serves the free thank you gift opt-in banner message automatically.

How do my customers get their free thank you gift?

After completing their purchase, the consumer may begin the process by clicking on an opt-in banner. Once the consumer has evaluated the offer, they can choose to accept or decline. If the consumer accepts the offer, they are indicating their express permission to transfer their personal and financial information - thus preparing the marketing partner to initiate a double opt-in order process.

Does the consumer receive the free thank you gift after they opt-in by clicking the banner message?

No. Customers clicking the opt-in banner message are taken to solicitation page where they are offered the opportunity to accept their free thank you gift, i.e., a $10 Cash Back Reward and 1-month free trial of the service. To accept the free gift, the customer must enter their email address and then verify that address by entering it again before clicking an additional "Yes" button. By entering and verifying the email address, the user has agreed to the offer details, which clearly iterate the details of the data transfer. The data transfer is clearly communicated on the page as follows:

"By entering my email address and clicking YES, I have read and agree to the offer details and authorize the secure transfer of my name, address and credit card information to…"

Do you communicate with the customer after they accept the free gift?

Once the customer clicks "Yes" and agrees to accept the free gift, they immediately receive an acknowledgement page confirming their acceptance. They also receive an e-mail including; a temporary UserID and Password so they may begin using their benefits right away, instructions on how to claim their $10 cash back rebate, and a toll-free customer service number and e-mail address to contact the partner if they have questions.

Why allow the customer the opportunity to transfer his information as opposed to re-entering it?

We believe the customer is always right. And after chatting with hundreds of customers, we heard one thing loud and clear ...they want convenience. Most consumers believe allowing them to transfer their personal and financial information with their express permission is much more convenient than re-entering it. Just ask Amazon.com's customers!

I agree the one click order process is convenient, but doesn't this infringe on the customer's privacy?

This program follows the basic tenet of Seth Godin's permission marketing model (Seth was the former privacy VP of Yahoo!). "Permission Marketing almost always follows the same simple steps. Each campaign is very different, but the concepts behind each step remain the same. Simply stated, you interrupt the customer with a message designed to get them to raise their hand. That's the way they volunteer, or say "yes" to begin a rewarding exchange of information..."

This model also follows the mandate of most leading privacy advocates whom urge that anyone wishing to transfer or collect almost any kind of information first should get the express permission of the person whom the information concerns, a rule called "mandatory opt-in."

CCNow and its marketing partners agree with the concepts above wholeheartedly. After all, consumer privacy, defined as "the state of being free from unsanctioned intrusion", is one we all deal with every day. What Seth Godin and the privacy advocates are saying is let's give the consumer the opportunity to sanction their transfer of information, thus making the course of action valid. To be absolutely certain that the consumer has given express permission, we go one step further by requiring the customer to sanction the action twice, by (1) clicking on a banner message that gives permission to transfer data; and (2) clicking on a "Yes" button to confirm agreement to transfer this data.

Do I need to ensure that my site's privacy policy allows for this?

Yes. You should make sure your privacy policy states something similar to the effect of "We will not provide third parties with your data without your express permission."

Do we pay anything for the free gift?

No. CCNow has arranged for the entire cost of the program, including the free gift.

Who handles customer service regarding the free thank you gift?

Our marketing partners do. The relevant partner's telephone number and email address are provided to the customer for support.

Is everyone eligible for a free thank you gift?

The offer is limited to customers that are located in the United States and are over age 18.

How can CCNow and its marketing partners afford to offer free thank you gifts and not get paid?

Our marketing partners ultimately generate their revenue from the consumer. Each consumer who claims the free thank you gift is offered the chance to join the consumer discount service. Although there is never an obligation for the customer to continue after the 1-month free trial, many consumers choose to join the services for the valuable benefits they offer. This subset of consumers provides revenue to the marketing partner.

We already offer our customers coupons and rebates. Can we work with this program too?

Yes, this program is complementary. Your customer will simply have even more savings and additional incentive to come back and purchase again!

How do people take advantage of their membership service benefits?

The marketing partner maintains a private label Web site that members can visit to take advantage of their benefits. No membership kits or cards; everything is provided online. For an example, simply visit: http://www.reservationrewards.com.

Who is the marketing partner?

The marketing partner could be one of several different companies that CCNow works with to make clients more money.

Does the marketing partner remind customers about the membership fee prior to billing?

Yes. They remind the customer three times prior to billing. Upon accepting the free gift, the customer receives an onsite confirmation page and an e-mail confirmation that contains the billing terms and conditions that were agreed to. Then, one week after joining, the user receives an email encouraging them to review their benefits and providing a link over to the Reservation Rewards site. Lastly, 2 weeks before the end of the trial period, the marketing partner sends a pre-billing notification e-mail reminding the customer of the billing terms and conditions he or she agreed to in the offer.

Is there any obligation for the consumer to pay the membership fee?

There is no obligation for the consumer to continue beyond the free trial. If the consumer wishes to cancel the membership before the billing period begins, the marketing partner will terminate the relationship.

Can the customer cancel the membership service?

Members may cancel during the trial period and owe nothing. Members may also cancel for up to 2 months after the trial (grace period) and receive a 100% refund. Thereafter, members may cancel the membership fee any time for a pro-rata refund.

Does the marketing partner handle customer service for the memberships too?

Yes they do. They handle customer service for any and all questions or comments your members may have. They have a phone and email support center that handles all incoming questions. Your members have access to a toll-free number and email for all correspondence.

What does the marketing partner do with the data that is collected?

All information is kept confidential. Our marketing partners do not sell, transfer, assign, disclose or otherwise use the information for any purpose other than to fulfill the free thank you gift, and bill and provide customer service to members.

We're interested, but are overwhelmed with work. How can we fit this in our queue?

There is no absolutely no work required for this program. In fact, the program is already running and you will begin receiving repeat purchase benefits and shared revenue for customers that choose to accept the offer.

Do I have to participate in the program?

CCNow continually looks for ways to keep your costs low while upgrading our technology and features of our platform to help you succeed. We designed the program with all our clients in mind and this program is automatically built in to our clients.

This program sounds too good to be true. What is the downside?
